Games Matter

I am of the opinion that video games matter.

they are more than mere entertainment.
they make my brain happy.
they teach.
they resemble language, mathematics, art, concepts, stories, and culture – often simultaneously.
they bridge social gaps.
they enrich human communication.
they inspire heated discussions.
they are a medium of human endeavor.
they transfer information with incredible efficiency.
they will revolutionize humanity.
